Arianna Petrich is a designer and creative strategist based in Los Angeles.

She is the founder of Hand and Ember, a collection of furniture, objects, and ritual textiles celebrating natural materials, tactility, and craftsmanship from around the world. Previously, she led the Visual Merchandising Campaign team at Aesop, shaping in-store activations and experiences across the US and Canada.

Though her background is in sculpture and product design, she also has a personal fascination with smell, incense traditions around the world, and processes of craftsmanship and artisanal production. She has led incense workshops, climbed piñon trees in New Mexico in search of fragrant resin, and spent time with incense makers in Vietnam and Japan to learn about and document their craft.

Her projects have been exhibited in the US, Italy, and India, and her work is included in the permanent collection of the DePaul Art Museum

Petrich received an MFA in Designed Objects from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA from Tulane University. She has also studied perfumery at the Institute for Art and Olfaction in Los Angeles.
